stitchpacks £45 for 3 projects

Don’t let the lockdown spoil your sewing fun.

We’ve put together a series of fun project packs for you to do from home, all available with contactless collection.

Join our online meet-ups as we take you through each one, step by step, so you can create a fantastic piece either by the end of the session, or to complete in your own time.

Each pack contains everything you need to complete the project - from patterns and fabric to threads. You just need a sewing machine and scissors. It’s an ideal way to learn new skills or brush up on what you already know and keep you busy.

Zoom Stitch Clubs will run in place of our other sessions until life gets back to normal.

1-2-1 tuition

from £50 for 90 minutes

Whether you’ve never picked up a needle and thread, or if you know how to sew but would like some help to brush up or expand your skills, a private lesson is the ideal way to get you going, or have as a regular weekly session to build your sewing skills at your own pace.

Before you come, we’ll talk to get to know a little bit about you: what you want to achieve as well as an idea of the types of projects you’d like to do.

1-2-1 sessions can also be a great help if you’re doing either GCSE or A Level Fashion and Textiles courses. I can work with you on your course projects offering support with technical know how and practical sewing skills.

If you have your own machine, it’s a good idea to bring it along so you can learn and practice on the same one at home too. But not to worry if you don’t, you’ll always be able to use one of ours.

Holiday Stitch Clubs

half term, easter and summer holidays

1, 2 and 3 day sessions, from £75

StitchClub comes to the school holidays with these productive one day specials. Brush up your skills or try something new with a range of projects to suit all abilities in a fun and creative workshop.

These holiday clubs are very productive, giving you time to learn some new techniques, practice what you know and complete a bigger project – and some smaller ones too.

You can come and try some ready-prepared and fun projects, which cover a range of different skills and abilities but if you have a particular idea in mind, let us know and we can try and include that too.

individual or group sessions

from £150

If you are working towards getting your D of E you can complete your skills award with us.

It’s not just about sewing on buttons though. You’ll need to use your creative skills to design projects and apply engineering-like problem solving skills when it comes to working out how to make them. It’s also a great way to gain skills for GCSE and even A Level Textiles, DT or Art.

For your D of E you will need to do one session a week for a school term, which could be a 1-2-1 session, a small group session with friends or at our Saturday Stitch Clubs.

And when you get really good you could even volunteer with us to help prepare sessions and even teach the younger children, which can count towards your volunteering D of E.
